About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a prestigious Modern British Gastro Pub in Chelmsford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes to our discerning customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Lead a team of chefs in the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective service
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Car driver essential
