Clinical Lead

Tewv Brits is seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Mental Health Service for Older Persons. This is a 12-month secondment or fixed-term contract opportunity to work on our 20-bedded older persons ward, providing clinical leadership and maintaining a positive and open culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team
- Develop and maintain a positive and open culture within the team
- Form therapeutic relationships with patients and their families/carers
- Provide clinical supervision to individuals or groups
- Contribute to quality improvement activities
- Have a working knowledge of clinical medicines management
Requirements:
- Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Trained in Clinical Supervision or willingness to work towards within 6 months
- Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based practice in caring for patients with mental health needs
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
