Clinical Lead

Tewv Brits is seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Mental Health Service for Older Persons. This is a 12-month secondment or fixed-term contract opportunity to work on our 20-bedded older persons ward, providing clinical leadership and maintaining a positive and open culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct clinical risk assessments and manage risks in practice
- Provide clinical supervision to individuals or groups
- Work with patients, families, and carers to promote therapeutic relationships
Requirements:
- Current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Trained in Clinical Supervision or willingness to work towards within 6 months
- Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based practice in caring for patients with mental health needs
