About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Delivery Manager to join our Global Commercial Services Technology (GCST) department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the prioritization, build, delivery, and launch process of the Nipendo Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile Events: You will facilitate Agile events that help engineer teams deliver value incrementally and iteratively.
  • Support Product Teams: You will support product teams through backlog refinement, backlog readiness, definition of ready/done, and support writing user stories.
  • Supervise Scrum Teams: You will supervise two Scrum teams' capacity and user story refinement processes and interact with engineers to monitor and match capacity against wider program objectives.
  • Track Iteration Progress: You will support processes to track iteration progress, issue resolution, and removing obstacles to ensure sprint/iteration commitments are met, escalate to leadership as necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance: You will ensure compliance with SDLC methodology.
  • Raise and Resolve Impediments: You will raise, track, and support resolutions of impediments, manage risk, and promote improvement throughout Technology.
How You Will Do It
  • Support Planning and Execution: You will support in planning, arbitrating, communicating, organizing, and executing on the platform's goals.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: You will support a learning culture to drive continuous improvements and standardization.
  • Challenge the Status Quo: You will respectfully and purposefully challenge the status quo.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: You will ensure data integrity for the teams within the Agile Management tools and compliance with SDLC audits.
  • Resolve Conflicts: You will use process expertise to identify and collaborate to resolve conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Methodologies: You will have an understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methods.
  • SDLC Methodologies: You will have knowledge of SDLC methodologies and practices.
  • Agile PM Tools: You will have experience with Agile PM tools such as Rally or JIRA.
