Job Title: Behaviour TA

Location: Lambeth

Job Type: Full Time (Preference) / Part Time

Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious Behaviour TA to join our primary team in Lambeth. The successful candidate will support pupils with challenging behaviour, working closely with the classroom teacher to promote the progress of SEN pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in working with SEMH/ SEN pupils, providing individualised support to meet their needs.
  • Differentiate work to cater to each child's unique requirements, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
  • Utilise excellent organisational skills to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong literacy and numeracy skills to support pupil learning.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH/ SEN pupils
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of behaviour management
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN in a school/ provision.
