About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Manager to join our CAMHS Inpatient team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to service users.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Manage and coordinate the ward, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust and national guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and experience.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current registration or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Evidence of postgraduate training and/or continuing professional development.
  • Experience of working in a CAMHS inpatient setting, with a strong understanding of adolescent mental health.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, service users, and families.
