Position Overview

The Peninsula London is excited to announce an opening for a Junior Kitchen Supervisor in our Lobby kitchen brigade. This role is essential for ensuring an outstanding guest experience through the delivery of a high-quality menu paired with exceptional service.

The Lobby at The Peninsula is known for its elegant atmosphere, live music, and top-tier food and beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for culinary excellence and be adaptable within a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes, adhering to menu specifications while accommodating guest preferences.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Commis Chefs, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
  • Deliver service in accordance with The Peninsula's renowned service standards.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients, with a creative flair.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen environment is required.
