Tax Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team in Poole. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the Tax Manager with the provision of audit services for a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax computations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients, offering expert guidance on tax matters.
  • Support the Tax Managers in coaching and training junior team members, promoting their learning and development.
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee the workflow of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to boost efficiency.
  • Identify and assess risk, ensuring the team's work is of the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team and other sectors of the firm to support company growth and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to add value to client portfolios, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Network and promote the department, building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Champion the firm's values within the team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or a finalist with audit experience within practice.
  • Self-motivated and reliable individual with a drive to progress and deliver results.
  • Technically efficient in both audit and accounting, with a strong focus on delivering technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
