This two-year programme is designed to develop your understanding of delivering projects in line with clear objectives and making decisions to manage stakeholder expectations. You will work alongside a multi-skilled team to deliver the project to time, cost, and quality requirements.

About the Role

As a Trainee Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely completion of project tasks and deliverables. You will communicate with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, while demonstrating SSE core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear understanding of safety management systems and best practices
  • Ensure project teams align with our safety culture
  • Work towards achieving a Level 8 Project Management qualification
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor projects
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals
