Main Responsibilities:

Office Based:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Undertake detailed design work, utilizing expertise in AV systems to create innovative solutions.
  • Prepare and write comprehensive engineering reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct site feasibility studies, assessing the suitability of locations for AV infrastructure installations.
  • Adhere to company Health and Safety Standards at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position, as required.

Person Specification:

  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification, with 2-5 years of experience in the field.
  • Proven experience in client and local authority liaison, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to train and mentor junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and development.
  • Possess varied project experience, including commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
  • Have a thorough understanding of common highway and drainage sectional agreements (S38, S278, S104, S185).
  • Be an experienced user of WinDes and Civils 3D, with proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrate excellent numeracy and general mathematics skills, with the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Have the capability to design complex S278 systems, with a strong understanding of drainage strategies and zone 1 FRAs.
  • Be proficient in producing high-quality documentation, with excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
