Senior Security Operations Centre Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Operations Centre Analyst to join our team at the General Medical Council (GMC). As a key member of our IS team, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our services and be responsible for defending our systems from attack by monitoring, preventing, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues to defend our systems from attack by monitoring, preventing, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats.
- Provide effective analysis, triage and handling of security events and incidents, acting as a point of escalation for the SOC analysts, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Play a key part in maturing Threat Hunting activities.
