Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Milton Keynes. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and peripherals in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous production.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completion of relevant paperwork and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, hygiene, and food safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Served apprenticeship in an electrical biased environment is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including the ability to read schematics and understand safe working practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
