Job Title: Compliance and Risk Department Manager

At Honda, we are committed to fostering a culture of compliance and risk management that supports our business objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance and Risk Department Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-line defense to the business and report to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
  • Manage and deliver the operational Compliance and Risk function to ensure HFE meets all regulatory requirements and guidance.
  • Maintain knowledge of ongoing regulatory change and provide timely briefing notes to senior management and business areas.
  • Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to the business on technical compliance matters.
  • Embed compliance policies, procedures, and framework across the business.
  • Oversight of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan for the business.
  • Design, implement, and embed an operational risk and control framework across the business.
  • Coordinate the production of regular, accurate, and timely Management Information.
Requirements:
  • Strong regulatory knowledge, including ability to interpret rules and guidance.
  • Ability to provide accurate and concise advice to the business.
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs and IT environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
