Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a secure environment for our employees and visitors. The successful candidate will possess a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to upholding safety protocols in accordance with our established policies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Safety and Security Coordinator, your duties will include:
1. Managing incoming calls and addressing or redirecting inquiries to the relevant departments.
2. Overseeing weighbridge operations and ensuring accurate transaction completion.
3. Operating security barriers and turnstiles.
4. Guiding visitors and staff to designated parking areas.
5. Facilitating the sign-in process for visitors and contractors, including key distribution.
6. Coordinating the booking, issuance, and return of company vehicles.
7. Conducting site unlock and lock-up procedures, along with regular patrols.
8. Issuing access control cards and temporary access passes.
9. Ensuring thorough handover processes for shift transitions.
