Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Procurement Manager to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a Site Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing purchasing strategies for direct and indirect spending, ensuring optimal supplier performance and price management.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement a purchasing strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk, and deliver cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and manage the development of contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to continuously improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services.
- Manage the team to deliver the appropriate support to the business.
- Work alongside the UK and group senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.
- Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies and processes.
- The ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
- To be able to take ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines, and any associated documents.
- Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Ideally MCIPS or high-level CIPS qualification.
