The Best Connection is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cold Store Picker to join our team in Reading. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate picking of orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the picking of orders using the 'pick by voice' equipment, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Safely handle manual equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Operate in a cold store warehouse with temperatures of -21 degrees, utilizing provided equipment to maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety practices in accordance with company policies, promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the team.
Requirements:
  • Essential previous warehouse experience, with a proven track record of meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Flexibility in your approach, particularly during peak seasons, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
