**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Test Centre team in Dumfries, Scotland. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting operations and ensuring the highest standards of excellence in our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise sub-groups and individuals within the Test Centre.
- Operate measuring equipment and data logging equipment safely.
- Design and manage projects related to equipment building, modification, commissioning, and development to suit test requirements and ensure rig consistency.
- Produce, control, and issue documentation.
- Develop advanced knowledge of Test Centre software to provide data and presentations as needed.
- Promote standards of excellence and commitment to continual improvement.
- Take responsibility for issued test and rig projects.
- Support current and future Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) site and corporate initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree level of equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a test, maintenance/manufacturing environment.
