Howells Recruitment is working with an established Fire & Security contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North-west. The Project Coordinator / Manager role is an office-based position with occasional travel to site when required.

The company specialises in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector built up over the last 40 years of trading.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of various projects within the business. Primary responsibilities will include facilitating communication, coordinating tasks, and assisting in project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

The Project Coordinator / Manager will work closely with the account managers, service manager, project managers, and team members to streamline project workflow efficiently and effectively.

The role involves managing systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications and estimates for handover.
  • Project planning and scheduling.
  • Communication with clients to arrange convenient appointments.
  • Resource management in allocating and managing engineers.
  • Risk management, producing and ensuring RAMS are in place.
  • Quality assurance, monitoring project delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Coordinator / Manager to join a reputable company in the Fire & Security sector.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
