Deputy/Clinical Lead Nurse Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Deputy/Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a leading care home in the Berwick-upon-Tweed area. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care standards
  • Support the delivery of improvements and drive quality standards to further improve efficiencies in line with CQC guidelines
  • Support the Home Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Home
  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services
  • Experienced in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Confident in overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Able to support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
