Job Summary:

The Smartlist is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Basketball Coach to lead coaching sessions with our basketball team and support the team during match days. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing coaching plans, leading training sessions, and providing guidance and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead coaching sessions with the basketball team, developing and implementing coaching plans to improve team performance
  • Support the team during match days, providing guidance and support to team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of coaching programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure consistency and quality of coaching

Requirements:

  • Hold a Basketball England Level 2 coaching qualification or higher
  • Have previous coaching experience, preferably in a team environment
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £20.00
  • A part-time schedule, approximately 3-6 hours per week
