About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure optimal care and treatment outcomes.
- Drive the development and implementation of multidisciplinary care plans.
- Contribute to service development and governance processes, including quality improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including NHS England case managers.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments for women referred to the unit, determining the appropriate level of care.
- Provide expert testimony at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration and Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Specialist registration with the GMC for either forensic or general adult psychiatry.
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
- Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and up-to-date with appraisals.
