We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Arbury Court hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to adult women with complex mental health needs.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing psychiatric assessments and developing care plans for women referred to the unit
- Working effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure the best care and treatment outcomes
- Contributing to service development and governance processes
- Building positive relationships with external stakeholders
- Providing oral and written evidence at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full GMC registration and Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- To be on (or about to join) the GMC specialist register for either forensic or general adult psychiatry
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- To be in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and up to date with appraisals
