About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Bannview House Care Home. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our home.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times. This will involve performing a range of tasks, including cleaning rooms, communal areas, and equipment, as well as restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant teams.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home.
  • Cover domestic duties as assigned.
  • Identify and report any damage, faults, or other issues to maintenance or management.
  • Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
  • Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
