About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Operations Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, while also developing your leadership skills and contributing to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of the store, including managing stock levels, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that all store systems are running efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team of sales assistants, providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Financial Management: Assist with the management of store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Operational Skills: Strong operational skills, with experience in managing stock levels, inventory, and store systems.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Basic financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
