About the Role:
We are seeking a Casual Nursery Assistant to join our team at Grandir UK's Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abington Park, Northampton. As a Casual Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained.
- Ensure equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents, and children.
- Supervise and support children at all times, promoting their safety and well-being.
- Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging.
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners, promoting learning and development.
- Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices, ensuring compliance and adherence.
- Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures, and operational practices.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained, where appropriate.
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required.
