About the Role:

Jacobs is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer at Jacobs, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical equipment for a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical equipment for a regulated industry
  • Use CAD Design tools such as Inventor/AutoCAD to create detailed designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that equipment meets customer requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records

Requirements:

  • HNC HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Membership of an appropriate Institute (ideally)
  • Experience of mechanical equipment design in a regulated industry
  • Knowledge and experience of CAD Design tools Inventor/AutoCAD
  • UK National with ability to obtain SC level security clearance
