Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Oasis Academy Lister Park. As a key member of our food and beverage operation, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for our school community.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and hygiene standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and school holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
