What You Will Receive in This Role
This temporary position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.50, with accrued holiday pay and the convenience of complimentary on-site parking.
The working hours are structured from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 16:00, with an early finish at 13:00 on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble production components in accordance with established specifications and quality standards.
- Support various teams within the manufacturing facility with daily operational tasks.
- Organize products and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to assist as needed.
- Apply and uphold "lean" and "6S" principles to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Aim for continuous enhancement through the utilization of key performance indicators, goal setting, and achievement.
Your Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing assembly is essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a machine assembly cell.
- Proficient in working independently to troubleshoot and implement improvements.
- Capable of functioning both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with "lean" and "6S" methodologies.
- Dedication to continuous improvement practices and the accomplishment of defined objectives.
