What You Will Receive in This Role

This temporary position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.50, with accrued holiday pay and the convenience of complimentary on-site parking.

The working hours are structured from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 16:00, with an early finish at 13:00 on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble production components in accordance with established specifications and quality standards.
  • Support various teams within the manufacturing facility with daily operational tasks.
  • Organize products and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to assist as needed.
  • Apply and uphold "lean" and "6S" principles to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Aim for continuous enhancement through the utilization of key performance indicators, goal setting, and achievement.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in manufacturing assembly is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a machine assembly cell.
  • Proficient in working independently to troubleshoot and implement improvements.
  • Capable of functioning both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with "lean" and "6S" methodologies.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement practices and the accomplishment of defined objectives.
