About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Talent Finder Jobs. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs to achieve exceptional culinary results
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts
  • Source and manage high-quality ingredients and suppliers
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring budget targets are met
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and execute events and promotions
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and industry developments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality gastro pub or restaurant
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and supplier relations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction
