Job Description

Job Summary

The Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of Capital Projects for ISS Facility Services UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
    • Responsible for the delivery of Capital Investment Projects, including upgrades and improvement works, and feasibility studies.
    • Ensure that all project works are managed effectively in line with ISS procedures, approved codes of practice, and CDM requirements.
  • Commercial Management
    • Ensure that all project-related activities are supported by a clear commercial process to deliver projects profitably.
    • Present a clear breakdown of costs to the client for approval.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Lead by example, motivate and engage with key stakeholders and ISS teams across the client account.
  • Project Administration
    • Maintain accurate Project files for each Project held on shared drive, and keep local records of Project status to evidence progress and commercial management.
  • Reporting and Monitoring
    • Monitor project performance against SLA's and KPI's in line with customer expectations and ensure accurate Monthly Reports and updates are collated and delivered to the customer reporting timelines.
  • Safety Culture
    • Promote a strong safety culture on all Project activities, with adherence to company processes for risk assessment, training, safe working, accident reporting and investigation (to include root cause analysis).

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management, specifically in Building upgrades or capital plant replacement.
  • Experience in the Management of a program of works and delivering projects on time and to budget.
  • Experience of working within CDM Regulations (2015).
  • Formal Project Management qualification, e.g. APM or Prince 2.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into successful operational solutions and drive closure on proposals.
  • Previous experience of costing projects.
  • Highly numerate and literate.
  • Experience of invoicing clients for any project works.
  • Awareness of Utilities, Energy Management and Sustainability.
  • Awareness of asset risk management and Lifecycle planning.
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum).
  • Degree/Diploma educated in a Business or FM related discipline.
  • A range of experience across project work including CDM, customer service and financial accountability.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for SC Clearance.
  • UK national or have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of five years.
