We are a leading IT Recruitment Agency collaborating with a renowned Global Consultancy seeking a Criminal Investigation Officer for our client based in Manchester.

IR35 Status: This position falls within the IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Criminal Investigation Officer, your primary duties will include:
- Supporting ongoing criminal investigations.
- Preparing court documentation and case files.
- Accessing and interpreting communications data.
- Managing digital media downloads and analyzing resulting data.
- Utilizing analytical software, especially CHORUS, to facilitate investigations.
- Providing training and mentorship to new team members, particularly in the Policing Education Qualification Framework (PEQF).

Required Experience:
- Proven experience in constructing evidential cases and pursuing relevant lines of inquiry.
- Collaborating with intelligence officers and analysts.
- Employing digital forensic technologies to scrutinize and evaluate mobile devices.
- Utilizing Chorus Analytical Software to enhance data integrity and analysis.
- Mentoring and guiding new recruits.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Accreditation through the Professionalising Investigation Programme or equivalent qualifications.
