Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Humber Education Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students.

Part-time: Monday - Friday, 33.75 hours per week, 8:30am - 3:45pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch), Term-time Only

Contract Type

Fixed-term until August 2025

Salary

£23,500-£24,294 per annum, £12.18-£12.59 per hour

Job Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and experience:

  • Contributes to planning and evaluation of learning and assists in the recording of pupils' progress
  • Supports individual and small groups of children in the curriculum, to accelerate their learning
  • Supports the emotional, behavioural and pastoral needs of all pupils, including children with additional needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
  • Assists with the development and implementation of Individual Education / Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
  • Encourages pupils to develop as independent learners with a thirst for learning
