The Role: Associate Director - Planning

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director to lead planning projects and drive business growth within our dynamic team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning solutions to our diverse client base, while also contributing to the strategic development of our planning services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing expert advice on planning matters.
  • Prepare high-quality planning applications, reports, and presentations, effectively communicating complex information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform planning strategies and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business growth initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding our client base.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

  • A chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
  • Extensive experience in the planning industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for planning and a commitment to sustainable development.
