Children Services - Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Childrens Home in Sheffield. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading a team of dedicated professionals who provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child or young person.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and education staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a residential childrens home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
