KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in process engineering assessments, design initiatives, and engineering projects to facilitate site advancement.
  • Guarantee that process safety considerations are thoroughly integrated into all design efforts.
  • Innovate and refine processes/products while aligning with project goals.
  • Assist in the design, selection, commissioning, and optimization of equipment, along with operator training.
  • Conduct process hazard analyses, risk assessments, and feasibility evaluations.
  • Support change management to ensure effective oversight and authorization of process modifications.
  • Deliver technical assistance and resolve process-related challenges to mitigate production issues.
  • Lead and implement plant trials to bolster new product and process innovation.
  • Generate and revise technical documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in a chemical or similarly regulated production environment.
  • Technical expertise in chemical processing equipment and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in equipment design, specification, selection, commissioning, and conducting plant trials.
  • Familiarity with process and functional safety principles, including HAZOP and LOPA methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset.
