About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to join our team as a Factory Operations Manager at Kaminsky Consulting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development of manufacturing operations across multiple sites, driving continuous improvement, and promoting lean manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Operations Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive manufacturing operations to World Class standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Promote and implement lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S, VSM, TPM, and other continuous improvement tools, to enhance manufacturing output and efficiency.
  • People Management: Lead and motivate a team of managers and production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective problem-solving and career development.
  • Process Development: Introduce processes and procedures that enhance manufacturing output, support EBITDA objectives, and drive significant company growth.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Develop and lead an agile, positive, and ambitious manufacturing function with the skills, resources, and capability to drive business performance and growth.
Requirements
  • Leadership and People Management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of developing and motivating staff.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with a deep understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement tools.
  • Health and Safety: IOSH or Nebosh qualified in Health and Safety, with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a proven ability to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
