Your Responsibilities
- Assist nursery staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by engaging children in enjoyable and educational activities, fostering their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
- Collaborate with a larger team to complete essential daily tasks in accordance with nursery requirements, such as maintaining hygiene standards and preparing rooms.
- Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding of children.
- Work alongside colleagues to create a positive, nurturing, and secure environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory, such as roles in nursery bank staff, nursery assistants, teaching assistants, nannies, or childminders.
- A passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults using various techniques.
- A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
- Flexibility and adaptability in your approach.
