Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Flexible Childcare Professional to join our team at Bright Horizons Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, choosing when you want to work, while still enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

About the Role

As a Flexible Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for supporting our nursery team in delivering high-quality childcare and education to our young children. Your role will involve engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Engage children in play and activities that promote their development and well-being
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children (e.g. nursery assistant, teaching assistant, nanny, childminder)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
  • Flexibility and adaptability
