We are seeking a proficient and committed Lead Validation and Integration Engineer to become a vital part of the Electrical/Electronic Components Engineering Team.

In this position, you will play a key role in guaranteeing the flawless integration and validation of state-of-the-art electrical and electronic components within their vehicles.


Key Responsibilities as Lead Validation and Integration Engineer:
  • Oversee the integration and validation processes for intricate automotive systems.
  • Strategically plan and manage the integrated software delivery into vehicle systems.
  • Utilize tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for effective system integration and validation.
  • Leverage expertise in diagnostic protocols and reprogramming.
  • Conduct comprehensive system tests and validation to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Create both manual and automated test cases and develop scripts using CAPL, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Employ defect tracking tools, including JIRA, to monitor and resolve issues.
  • Execute closed-loop testing and assist in software download, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to deliver robust solutions, including APIs, hardware abstraction layers, and appropriate operating systems.
  • Support full life cycle control systems processes applicable to chassis, powertrain, driveline, suspension, or HMI systems.
  • Work closely with the test and validation team to ensure comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVPs) and test coverage.
  • Continuously enhance design procedures, provide guidance on best practices, and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in seminars and conferences to share and gather information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills as Lead Validation and Integration Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience in integration and validation within the automotive sector or similar fields.
  • Demonstrated experience with the integration and validation phase of the V-Model development life cycle.
  • Expertise in using CANoe and CANalyzer for system integration and validation.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic protocols and reprogramming.
  • Strong proficiency in systems testing and validation.
  • In-depth understanding of CAN communication and detailed knowledge of the protocol.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities.

Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience with Vector PREEvision is a plus.
  • Background in manual and automated test case generation.
  • Proficiency in script development (e.g., CAPL, Python).
  • Experience with defect resolution tools such as JIRA.
  • Familiarity with closed-loop testing methodologies.
  • Experience in software download, optimization, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to mentor junior engineers and lead work product review meetings.
