Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Goodman Masson. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Annual Planning: Collaborate with the Head of Audit to develop a comprehensive risk-based annual Internal Audit Plan, identifying key areas of focus and resource requirements.
  • Conducting Audits: Conduct thorough and independent audits, including determining audit scope, developing test plans, drafting audit reports, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of audit workpapers.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the audit process.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical knowledge of insurance or asset management, with a strong understanding of asset and liability management.
  • Professional Certifications: Hold relevant professional certifications, such as the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
