About The Role

proAV Limited is a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our Egham team, representing proAV. The successful candidate will be a hybrid role primarily based at our Engineering Hub and will work alongside the Production Team while also orchestrating off-site works.

The Senior Production Engineer will play a key role in maintaining efficient and reliable rack installations while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety, providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembling and wiring racks according to specifications and guidelines
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to rack installations
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of rack inventory
  • Prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Providing leadership and guidance, setting an example to the rest of the team
  • Demonstrating a strong sense of professionalism and attention to detail by consistently creating organized and visually appealing rack installations
  • Collaborating with Production Managers to develop and implement new processes
  • Training and mentoring junior production engineers and technicians
  • Pre-preparing cables for upcoming systems
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines

  • Acting as a role model for other production engineers, offering support to junior technicians
  • Coordinating with internal departments to gain a clear understanding of projects and troubleshoot any rack-related queries
  • Ensuring racks are uniform when working with the team on identical systems
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in rack technology
