Job Summary:

Zest Tech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a leading recruitment agency in the construction and civil engineering sectors, we specialize in connecting top talent with leading companies.

About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site position as a Quantity Surveyor located in a dynamic work environment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including:

  • Cost Control: managing and controlling construction costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ): creating detailed estimates of materials and labor required for construction projects.
  • Cost Management: analyzing and managing costs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Cost Planning: developing and implementing cost plans to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Cost Reporting: providing regular cost reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills: experience in managing and controlling construction costs.
  • Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Planning: ability to create detailed estimates and cost plans.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills: ability to analyze and interpret data to inform cost management decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy: ability to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in cost reporting and management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry: experience working in the construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred): degree in quantity surveying or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., RICS) is a plus: professional certification in quantity surveying or related field.
