Cityscape Recruitment is a reputable Tier 2 Self Delivering Civil Engineering contractor with a robust portfolio of projects.

We specialize in a diverse range of sectors within Construction and Civil Engineering, including:

  • Multi-story car parks
  • Bridge infrastructure
  • Highways infrastructure
  • Groundworks
  • Rail infrastructure

Our projects vary significantly in scale, with values ranging from £700,000 to £8M. Due to our ongoing expansion and a strong pipeline of work, we are currently seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial aspects across various civil engineering projects, ensuring profitability for the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing costs for new multi-story car parks, major earthworks, bridges, and highway schemes.
  • Leading a team of quantity surveyors and assistant quantity surveyors.
  • Conducting general surveying tasks, including reviewing and pricing variations.
  • Preparing valuations for the Project Manager and Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Location and Work Environment

This position will be office-based, and candidates should ideally reside within a commutable distance.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Experience in the UK infrastructure sector, particularly in drainage, piling, concrete works, or earthworks.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Experience in managing final accounts.
