About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our client's team in the FMCG sector. As a key member of the planning function, you will be responsible for managing the tactical and strategic planning processes, ensuring the delivery of short-term daily scheduling and long-term capacity and labor planning while maintaining agreed customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning team to deliver daily production schedules driven by customer demand, ensuring resources are available to manage this and KPIs are hit.
  • Coach the planning team to develop strong stakeholder relationships, including exposure to customers.
  • Develop and implement methods of Continuous Improvement (CI) to enhance the planning function.
  • Utilize the ERP/MRP systems in place to support planning activities.
  • Develop key relationships with the team, other departments, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Planning Manager in an FMCG company.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to adapt to different situations.
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, including exposure to customers.
  • Very analytical in their work, maximizing productivity.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
