Position: Instructor – Plumbing Systems

Institution: The Bedford College Group.

Role Overview:

We are in search of a Plumbing Instructor to become a vital part of our educational team at The Bedford College Group.

As an Instructor, you will significantly contribute to the success of our learners by:

Designing, delivering, evaluating, and validating specialized subjects across various courses and levels. Mentoring and assisting students to achieve their goals and unlock their potential. Overseeing students' educational journey and ensuring a superior learning environment. Actively participating in curriculum enhancement and innovative teaching methodologies. Engaging in promotional activities to support diverse programs and learning pathways.

Candidate Profile:

Level 3 qualification in Plumbing & Heating (8202, 6035 or equivalent) Commitment to obtaining a Certificate in Education or equivalent GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent Eagerness to achieve an assessor's award or similar qualification Willingness to obtain an Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) award or similar qualification Recent experience in the UK Plumbing & Heating sector OR recent teaching and assessment experience across various programs and levels. Awareness of current trends in UK Building Services Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Demonstrated understanding of promoting equality and diversity within the role Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Capacity to contribute positively to the team, respecting and valuing others' expertise Proficient interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
