General Handyman/woman

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general maintenance and repairs in our Community Centre/Private Club.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and provide solutions.
- Respond to repair requests in a timely manner.
- Install, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagonise electrical, and plumbing problems.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors when necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards.
- Work efficiently whilst adhering to health & safety.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance person or maintenance role is ideal, but not always necessary.
- 'All rounder' basic maintenance capability.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting.

**Skills**:

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and find practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Leadership qualities to supervise projects and coordinate work activities.

We offer competitive pay based on experience. This role could be ideally suited to someone who is perhaps retired and looking for an income top-up.

This role is available on a PAYE or self-employee basis.

**Salary**: £16.00-£18.50 per hour
