A leading institutional asset management firm is seeking a distinguished Communications leader to oversee its Communications division. This position will be pivotal in managing the team and effectively conveying the organization's narrative as a committed long-term investor.

Key Responsibilities

The Communications division is tasked with safeguarding and enhancing the corporate image of the organization while executing the communications strategy aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in directing a team focused on Content Creation, Media Relations, Digital Strategy, and Internal Communications. You will spearhead both external and internal communications initiatives, providing strong leadership to optimize team performance and engagement. Additionally, you will supervise communication programs and contribute to the public affairs strategy, including the formulation and execution of position papers.

Qualifications & Skills

This role requires prior experience in leading Communications teams and advising senior executives on strategic communication and policy matters. A proven track record in managing sensitive policy issues with integrity and trust is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with a comprehensive understanding of the policymaking process and the ability to lead, manage, and develop a team effectively. Your background should also include the cultivation of long-lasting, valuable relationships, particularly in media relations. Familiarity with the investment sector is highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will exhibit a thoughtful, strategic, and impactful approach.

A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, you will possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, along with experience in digital and social media management to elevate the organization's profile.

With outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, you will be adept at assimilating complex information and presenting it clearly and understandably. Your experience will encompass the comprehensive management of corporate events and the establishment of long-term, valuable relationships, particularly in media relations.

Experience within the asset management or financial services sectors is highly desirable, as is proven expertise in writing and/or managing corporate reporting.
