Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed and precise cost estimates for railway and civil engineering projects, including track construction, signaling, earthworks, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to prepare accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary data and insights.
  • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs, as well as project risks and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing competitive bids and tender submissions for a variety of projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and technological advancements to enhance estimating accuracy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the railway or civil engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of railway infrastructure, civil engineering standards, and construction processes.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
