Key Responsibilities
- Safety and Compliance
- Maintain and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of ink technicians to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Operational Efficiency
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ink room to ensure efficient production and delivery of high-quality ink products.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Quality Control
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality ink products.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stock Control and Inventory Management
- Manage the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement effective stock control procedures to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Requirements
- Education and Qualifications
- Maths and English GCSE grade 4 (C) and above or equivalent.
- Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Programs, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with dispensing and color measurement/formulation software.
- Personal Qualities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
