Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU), you will be responsible for collecting and making deliveries by van/lorry to customers, receiving and checking deliveries of medical devices from customers, and maintaining accurate tachograph records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of medical devices to customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and report on transportation costs and efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the HSSU team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of transportation activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with current driver hour legislation and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Full driving license with a willingness to train for the C1 entitlement.
  • Basic knowledge of current driver hour legislation.
  • Driver digital tachograph card.
  • Manual handling skills and ability to move transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg.
